THE UNIQUE STORY
With the perfect-fitting flavors for winter, you’ll experience flavor notes of chocolate spice cake, sweet cranberry, and fig in this special seasonal blend. Sleigh Ride consists of 50% washed Kenyan Lenana and 50% natural process Brazilian Serra Negra. Both of these components are award winners for their perfectly balanced, yet complex flavors and natural sweetness. When blended together, the magical symphony of flavor is perfect for the winter season.

AWARDS
50% is award-winning Lenana, used by two of our baristas to place in the 2019 SCA National Barista Championships.
50% is Serra Negra, the coffee that received a specific shoutout when awarded 2022 Best Toaster in Ohio by Food & Wine Magazine

ADDITIONAL INFO

50% Lenana
Lenana is a single-origin Kenyan blend all grown on the slopes of Mt. Kenya, consisting of both estates and cooperatives, and prepared by Taylor Winch (Coffee) Ltd in Kenya. The coffee was grown by smallholders, generally with average 200 trees each, who delivered their freshly picked ripe cherries to cooperative wet mills. The AB Lenana was disc pulped, fully fermented and washed, sundried on elevated drying tables. Consolidated parchment volumes were then delivered to dry mills where the parchment was hulled, graded according to size and density, and warehoused and warranted for sale.

50% Serra Negra
This natural process Brazilian coffee is so smooth, chocolatey, and easy to love, it received a special mention in the announcement of our award of Best Roaster in Ohio by Food & Wine magazine. This special lot reminds us of the flavors of a marsh mallow… a perfect component to add to a winter seasonal blend.
